BEND, OR — A Madison, WI-based telecommunications company has officially acquired BendBroadband. It’s a $261-million purchase that has been in the works since May. Now, officials with TDS Telecom say their acquisition of BendBroadband is complete. The Wisconsin company will manage all of BendBroadband’s companies, which last year reported a combined $70-million in revenues. They include Zolo Media, The Vault data center, COTV11, local CBS affiliate KBNZ and ABC affiliate KOHD.
Transition teams are working with BendBroadband’s nearly 300 employees, and TDS Telecom VP Mark Barber said, “Customers should continue to expect the same great products and services, along with the strong local traditions BendBroadband has established.”
