BEND, OR — Oregon State Police troopers said a Redmond man was seriously injured when his semi-truck left Highway 62 and crashed in Jackson County Friday morning. Troopers said around 5:15 a.m., the Les Schwab truck was westbound near Prospect when the big-rig left the roadway and collided head-on into a tree. It took emergency crews 45 minutes to free Gary D. Flory, 50, from the truck’s cab. He was flown to the Medford hospital with serious injuries.
No word at this point what may have caused the commercial truck to leave Highway 62.
