GOLD HILL, OR — Oregon State Police said a man died Sunday morning after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a field along Highway 234 near Gold Hill. Investigators said Nolan Rayce Ringulet, 31, Lakeview, was traveling westbound with two other people, one on a motorcycle and another driving a pickup. Around 10:45 a.m., Ringulet reportedly passed the pickup at a high rate of speed. As he moved back into the westbound lane he lost control. The motorcycle traveled onto the gravel shoulder and left the highway into a field where Ringulet was ejected.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was wearing a protective helmet. Next of kin were notified.
