Albuquerque Police(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) — Three “juvenile clowns” are now in custody in Albuquerque, New Mexico, according to police.
After a report of a “clown sighting” on Sunday, Foothills officers responded to an area near Babies R Us at 45 Hotel Circle NE in Albuquerque, police said.
Albuquerque Police said the three young people were found with clown masks and what appeared to be a handgun.
In a photo provided by police, the masks appeared to have red hair, blue-lined eyes, and long yellow teeth.
Police said Sunday they were working on the investigation.
