Arrests in Prostitution Sting At Bend Motel

Bend, Ore. – Another incident has occurred of human trafficking in Central Oregon.

A New York woman was cited for prostitution, and two Bend area men were charged with solicitation at a NE Bend motel Monday.

Bend Police lieutenant Clint Burleigh said police acted on an anonymous tip that mentioned the victim was possibly a younger female.

It’s the second sex trafficking incident in Bend in less than two weeks.

Back on August 18, four people were cited in a another sting operation at several Bend area motels.
