Redmond, Ore. – BIG R Farm & Ranch in Redmond is changing its name to Coastal.

“You will continue to see the same employees in the same store with the same products,” according to owner Buzz Wheeler. “There is no impact on our customers or employees. Maintaining our high customer service continues to be our top priority. This name transition will be seamless for our customers.”

For years the company has operated stores under separate names. With this
change, all fifteen stores will have the same name. “We hope this makes it a little less confusing for our customers,” says Wheeler.

According to local stores manager Robert Grinder, the name change has been
endorsed by all of their top manufacturers, including Wrangler, Carhartt, Nutrena and Purina. “Our manufactures, customers and staff are excited about the new name. Everyone is more committed than ever to supporting the local farm and ranch lifestyle.”
