“We Are Your Friends,” “War Room” Open Friday

Warner Bros.(LOS ANGELES) — The Owen Wilson thriller No Escape opened Wednesday, earning $1.2 million in its first day of release, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Two more films debut nationwide Friday. Here’s a closer look:

We Are Your Friends — Zac Efron is an aspiring DJ who falls for his DJ mentor’s girlfriend. Emily Ratajkowski and Wes Bentley also star. Rated R.

War Room — The religious film focuses on a couple struggling with their marriage. The wife has a new client who challenges her to establish a “war room” for prayer for her family. Rated PG.
