OLCC Fines Two Local Businesses

OLCC Commissioners approve sanctions for liquor law violations
Portland, Ore.– At its monthly meeting on March 27, the Commissioners of the Oregon Liquor
Control Commission ratified the following fines and liquor license suspensions based on stipulated
settlement:

Pho Viet & Café, 1326 NE 3rd Street, Bend; will pay a fine of $2,970 or serve an 18-day liquor
license suspension for two violations. The first violation is for failing to verify the age of a minor
before allowing him to buy or be served alcohol when he reasonable appeared under 26 years old.
The second violation is for permitting employees to mix, sell, or serve alcoholic beverages, or
supervise those who do, without a valid service permit. Licensee is Pho Viet & Café, LLC; Tan Vo
and Minhtam Nguyen, members.

Stop And Go Mini Mart, 1699 NE Highway 20, Bend; will pay a fine of $1,485 or serve a nine-day
liquor license suspension. Licensee is Couch investments, LLC; Kent Couch, member.

Other businesses fined included a few in Portland and a business in Medford and Salem.
