Redmond Police Release Victims Names

Redmond, Ore. – Redmond Police have released the names in two separate and unrelated cases of bodies found over the weekend.

In the first case 21 year old Samuel Quintin Villa was found inside of a burned car near NW Larch Avenue and NW 21st street in Redmond Friday night.

And on Sunday, The Redmond Police Department responded to a report of a deceased female in the COID canal just north of Xero Lane.   She is identified as 19 year old Jamie Garr.  Police says friends, family and law enforcement tried to locate her without success during the night of November 15th and the early morning of November 16th.

The case is still under investigation by the Redmond Police Department, with assistance from the Deschutes County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Deschutes county District Attorney’s Office.

In both cases Redmond Police are asking for the public’s help if they have more details to report.   People can  complete  an on-line incident report at the department’s webpage or Facebook account, or call the non-emergency dispatch line at 541-693-6911.
