Bend PD: Three Men Responsible For Area Vehicle Thefts

Bend Police STOCK 2BEND, OR — Bend Police say the two men arrested after a high-speed chase in Redmond last month are responsible for several vehicle thefts.  On August 26th, Brian Magness, 26, and Robert Hugh Hansen, 36, both of Bend, were arrested following a car chase involving a stolen vehicle.  Since then, investigators have determined they were responsible for several thefts around the area this summer, including:

  • August 15th, two four-wheelers from NE Bend
  • August 23rd, a motorcycle from NW Bend
  • August 23rd, a pickup truck and bicycle from NE Bend
  • August 24th, two four-wheelers and a motorcycle
  • August 24th, a .22 North American Arms firearm stolen from a vehicle parked in NE Bend

 

Investigators add a third suspect, Robert Stenkamp, 39, Bend, was involved but has not been arrested at this point.

Bend PD said their investigation is ongoing.
